About the author:
Rhonda Blackhurst is a Restitution Advocate for the Adams County District Attorney’s Office by day and escapes into the world of fiction at night. After working as a stringer for a local newspaper and taking a course in journalism and short story writing, she quickly learned her first love is fiction. She is the author of the Melanie Hogan Cozy Mysteries, Shear Madness and Shear Deception (Shear Death coming in 2017), and also of The Inheritance, contemporary fiction.

Award-winning author Christine Goff will be speaking at Chautauqua in Boulder on November 16th about her 6th book in the bestselling Birdwatcher’s Mystery series, A PARLIAMENT OF OWLS. Each book in the Birdwatcher’s Mystery series tackles global environmental themes. OWLS focuses on burrowing owls and habitat. The talk begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 / $7 for Concert Members (and as a holiday special, you can enter the word “owls” in the promo box and purchase tickets for the member price). Christine will be donating her share of the ticket proceeds to the Boulder Bird Club.
